So my latest photography experiments are in self portraits. I have been working my timer setting/ camera/ tripod/ setting/ and next will go time of day.

Self portraits are fun – as you have complete control.  You can be silly, dreamy, childlike, and crazy happy in front of yoursel!

My first step has been to think what do I want to say about myself, that is pick backdrops and props that convey who I am.

My first prop-Guitar! I love to write songs and play the guitar. I’d love to write many songs and share them with people. If only I’d known this as a child I would have been writing them all my life -but epiphanies come when you are ready!

Sometimes I forget the camera is there, and other times I stare right down the lens of the camera!  Or in this case my guitar does!

So here’s to designing my first cd cover, or will it be itunes link image.  Next step – times of day and location experiments.
