The video is a sneak peak of elements of the poetry performance, which will include some of these words, and images backing the performance.

To create this first poem, I reflected on the stories of the women, as well as concepts of sacrifice, transformation and spiritual purpose, and metaphors that speak to the creation of change. That’s all I want to say for now.

This collaborative global project is dedicated to all the women of Iran, of all faiths, and to the realisation of their dream for Equality.
