Seeking sunset to seek to sleep to dream
to prepare for the next day of the fast
to prepare for the eternal journey
into the sunset of the body
but the awakening of the soul.

Vision blurs as night time comes.
Lights fade from peach to black.
Stars come out and bring the night.

The leaf unfolds and in it she
sees the story of the Greatest Holy Leaf
enfolding her in the stories
of faith, and suffering,
and sisterhood and overcoming winter mountains in barefeet and
holding it all together for everyone.
