Recently I was pleased to send some books as a donation to Life’s Little Treasures Foundation.

“Life’s Little Treasures Foundation was founded by parents who had been through the journey of having a prem or sick baby themselves. They recognised there were not enough supports for families.

Since 2005, they’ve provided crucial information, community connection and support to families facing the life-changing experience of having a premature or sick baby. They know too well how the circumstances of a baby’s birth can have an impact on the whole family. Many of their team members having the lived experience of welcoming a premature or sick baby into the world so they ‘get it’.”

They have an upcoming Little Readers Read-a-Thon which will run from the 14th to the 28th of August and is especially for hospital units.

Australian hospitals who register before 31 July 2026 will also receive a Little Readers Read-a-thon Starter Pack with extra resources for families (including printed posters, books marks and stickers).
